The Board of Supervisors thanks everyone who helps make our Tredyffrin Libraries tremendous community assets and community centers of which all Tredyffrin residents can be proud. The libraries thank the Board of Supervisors for the following proclamation:

WHEREAS, the American Library Association has designated April 4 – 10, 2021 as National Library Week, with a theme of “Welcome to Your Library”;

WHEREAS, the Tredyffrin Public Library and Paoli Library are central to the Tredyffrin Community and offer opportunities to enrich their lives through print and electronic collections, technology, multimedia content, and educational program;

WHEREAS, libraries, librarians, and library workers play an invaluable role in supporting their communities through promoting literacy, social engagement, and active community participation;

Support Community Puzzle

Spring Appeal is Live

If you’ve been reading AdLib over the last several months, you know our programming librarians are hard at work organizing and facilitating virtual programs for all ages.
We are so delighted to bring what you love about the library home through the virtual programs and digital materials, but these do come at a cost.
TTL recently launched the Spring Fundraising Appeal to ask our community for donations to cover these and other costs at the library. Any donation amount– even what you might spend on drink or food at a live trivia event– makes a difference and ensures that the library can continue to provide virtual programs and, hopefully, in-person programs soon!

Share Your Story

We need you to share your story

Mother and Child enjoy ice cream in the libraryEvery year the libraries put together a booklet to share with our local legislators highlighting how libraries have affected the lives of individuals in the community. This helps our law makers make informed decisions on supporting increased funding for libraries across the state. You can help! We’re not asking for your money (though donations are always appreciated), but we need your stories!

Help us provide a personal snapshot of how vital we are to the Tredyffrin community by submitting a story or quote about “how your library is changing your life or family.” Additionally, we would love to have an image of you or your family in the library or using a library resource.

Libraries Transform

  • Has the library provided a life-changing experience for you or a family member?
  • Is there a resource or service that you recently found out the library offers that made a significant impact in your daily or weekly routine?
  • Has an experience at the library left a lasting impression?

If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, let us know your story! We want to hear from you. As a small thank you for your support, patrons who provide a story and a picture will receive one free month of rentals at Tredyffrin Township Libraries.

T&E Care March 2019 Clothing Drive

A Note from our friends at T&E Care:

T&E Care is looking for donations of new or gently used clothing for infants through teens for its upcoming Kids’ Clothing Event.  Items can be dropped off anytime between March 20-29 at any of the local TESD schools, Tredyffrin Public Library (Wayne) or the Easttown Library (Berwyn).   Please only drop items off when the schools/libraries are open. Clothing for all seasons, plus good quality shoes, boots, coats, belts or other accessories will be accepted.  Again this year is a teen girls Pop-up Shop – so lots of teen girls clothes will be needed to help make this part of the event extra special! For a list of items not accepted, and for other information, please go to www.tecare.org.

Save the Date

Be sure to also mark your calendars for the Kids’ Clothing Event itself, Thursday, April 4 (4-8) or Friday, April 5 (9-noon) at St. Matthew’s United Methodist Church at 600 Walker Rd in Wayne.  This fundraiser for T&E Care is a great chance for everyone to restock your kids’ closets with great quality clothes. Questions, please contact T&E Care at clothes@tecare.org.
