  • Medical Qigong

    Where: Tredyffrin Public Library at Meeting Room

    Medical Qigong focuses on four baskets of practice: gentle movement, self-applied massage, breathing, and meditation.
    Awaken the power of Qigong for self-healing, stress mastery, and inner peace. Studies have found that Qigong helps relieve the symptoms of arthritis, hypertension, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, and more. $5/class fee.

  • Free Drop-in ESL Class

    Where: Tredyffrin Public Library

    Learn English in a fun and supportive atmosphere. This evening ESL group meets to practice English with the help of experience ESL teacher Susan Pierson. No registration necessary, just stop by!

    Focus on poses that stretch, lengthen & strengthen the body’s structure. Improve balance, core strength & alignment through slow movements.
    No experience necessary. Bring a mat for floor work.
    $5 fee per class.

  • A Matter of Balance

    When: Thursday, February 22, 2018 – 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
    Where: Tredyffrin Public Library at Meeting Room

    Register for this free 8 week course that will teach practical strategies to improve balance, flexibility and strength. This course is designed for anyone who has concerns about falling. Learn practical strategies to reduce risks and manage falls.

  • Writer's Group

    When: Thursday, February 22, 2018 – 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
    Where: Paoli Library at Paoli Library Meeting Room

    Come when you can to the Writers’ Group–no need to arrive at 12:30 or stay until 5:00. Review work, trade literary tips, make friends and have fun! Connect with other writers and build a thriving community together. All writers,and all should-be writers, are welcome!
    Times are flexible–please contact the organizers for details!

    Bring your poetry, your novels, your short stories, and your inspiration. This group is an opportunity for creative writers of all genres to come together and support one another as we develop our skills and confidence as writers. We will hold open meetings with some formal guidelines, to share our writing and inspire one other.

  • Emergency Preparedness Workshop

    When: Saturday, February 24, 2018 – 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM
    Where: Tredyffrin Public Library at Meeting Room

    Learn what you need to do in order to be prepared for a disaster. Find out how to create your own emergency kit and develop a family communication plan. Earth Scientist, Mr. Jason Andre, will share resources with you from FEMA and practical examples from his own emergency kit. Online registration required.
