  • Art Book Club

    When: Wednesday, May 23, 2018 – 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM
    Where: Paoli Library at Paoli Library Meeting Room

    Discussion of books–both fiction and nonfiction–in which art plays a central role. May’s title is _Goya_, by Robert Hughes.

    Reduce Stress & improve your sense of well-being
    Focus on poses that stretch, lengthen & strengthen the body’s structure. Improve balance, core strength & alignment through slow movements.
    No experience necessary. Bring a mat for floor work.
    $5 fee per class.

  • Tai Chi for Balance

    When: Thursday, May 24, 2018 – 12:00 PM – 12:50 PM
    Where: Tredyffrin Public Library at Meeting Room

    $5/class fee. Tai chi is safe, effective, and scientifically proven to decrease the risk of falls, improve balance, arthritis, fibromyalgia, cancer recovery and more. Tai Chi means supreme balance and harmony. In a Tai Chi practice, balance is dynamic and flowing helping to decrease the risk of falls in daily life.

    You will learn 5 essential Tai Chi forms, breathing, self-applied massage, and mindfulness meditation. You will begin seated in a chair and progressively work your way to standing and to Tai Chi walking at your own pace.

  • Writer's Group

    When: Thursday, May 24, 2018 – 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
    Where: Paoli Library at Paoli Library Meeting Room

    Come when you can to the Writers’ Group–no need to arrive at 12:30 or stay until 5:00. Review work, trade literary tips, make friends and have fun! Connect with other writers and build a thriving community together. All writers,and all should-be writers, are welcome!
    Times are flexible–please contact the organizers for details!

    Bring your poetry, your novels, your short stories, and your inspiration. This group is an opportunity for creative writers of all genres to come together and support one another as we develop our skills and confidence as writers. We will hold open meetings with some formal guidelines, to share our writing and inspire one other.
