Tredyffrin Public Library offers more than just books; with a media collection, public classes, and a variety of resources, there’s something here for everyone.

Collection

Tredyffrin offers a collection with over 103,000 resources. Choose from books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs, video games and reference materials for all ages. The library has subscriptions to over 200 magazines and newspapers for both broad and special interests. Looking for something specific? Search for it in our catalog!

Services and Programs

A variety of services and programs for the community can be found at Tredyffrin Public Library.  Internet access, printing, faxing, scanning, and professional reference services are available. Classes are offered on a weekly basis, ranging in subjects from book groups to yoga or bridge lessons. Programs include guest speakers, monthly book clubs, art classes for kids and much more! Internet and Technology

We offer internet ready Windows 10 Computers for public use on the Main and Lower levels, which include the 2013 Microsoft Office Suite. Free Wi-Fi is available on your own electronic devices throughout the building, including on our terrace. Color photocopiers, printers and a fax machine are also available for public use. Faxing is handled by staff & costs $1 per page, including the cover page. Chester County Library System offers a robust app for your smart phone or tablet, giving you full access from anywhere in the world.

One-on-one tutoring for computers and e-readers available by appointment.

Space and Accessibility

In addition to a variety of reading nooks and desks, there are also several indoor public meeting rooms and one outdoor space available to rent. There are spaces available to accommodate groups of any size, from 4 to 130 guests, including the Tyler Hedges Room which is used exclusively for children’s programming.  All indoor spaces are handicapped accessible.
