TPL Children’s Department is looking for Teen Volunteers for Summer 2024!

Teens who will be ages 13-17 by June 1, 2024 are eligible to volunteer in the Children’s Department this summer! Here are the basics. For more information, please see the Volunteer Info Sheet. If you still have questions, please email Teen Volunteer Coordinator Michele Bolay (mbolay@ccls.org).

The application period is Monday, April 1 through Sunday, May 19. It is not first-come – ALL applications with waivers submitted within the application period will be considered.
To apply, fill out the Volunteer Application and Township Waiver and return them before the end of the application period. This can be done in person at the Children’s Desk, by snail mail, or as a PDF email attachment. Please keep the Volunteer Info Sheet.
All applicants will be emailed the week following the deadline.
Applicants who are accepted must then attend an orientation meeting with a parent or guardian.
The Children’s Summer Program will run from Friday, June 14 through Saturday, August 31. Volunteers will be scheduled based on their availability and interests.
