The Museum Pass programs at Tredyffrin Public Library and Paoli Library enable patrons to check out passes to popular local attractions for free. Tredyffrin Public Library thanks the Friends of Tredyffrin Public Library for generously funding our Museum Pass Program.
The Tredyffrin Public Library has made the difficult decision to discontinue our participation in Elmwood Park Zoo’s Community Pass Program. This decision was made in response to mandated changes to Elmwood Park Zoo’s Community Pass usage procedures, which are incompatible with our Confidentiality of Library Records policy. To uphold patron privacy and maintain consistent service, our passes to the Elmwood Park Zoo will expire at the end of the summer.
Please note the important dates below:
The last day to reserve an Elmwood Park Zoo pass from Tredyffrin Public Library is July 30.
The last day to visit the Elmwood Park Zoo with a pass from Tredyffrin Public Library is August 30.
We understand the Elmwood Park Zoo is a popular pass and we did not make this decision lightly. We appreciate your understanding.
The Elmwood Park Zoo pass is available to check out from other libraries in Chester County through the LibCal website at this link
The Tredyffrin Library has passes to many other wonderful museums and gardens including the Please Touch Museum, the Lancaster Science Factory, and the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. All the passes can be found at this link.
Notes
- Printable passes are one-day passes that patrons print at home to take with them to the museum. If patrons do not have access to a printer, they may ask for it to be printed at their library.
- Physical passes have 3-day reservations, and they must be picked up at the owning library. They must also be returned to the owning library’s circulation desk by their due date.
- Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance and they are limited to 2 per patron account at one time.
- Patrons can check out the same pass one time in a 30 day period.
- Physical passes are subject to a $25/day fine when overdue. Patrons will be billed to replace the membership pass if not returned.
