Library staff will consider proposals based on:
- Adherence to PA Forward‘s five literacies for Pennsylvania LibrariesÂ
- Presenter or performer expertise
- Space, budget, and staffing requirements
- Contribution to the library’s overall schedule of events
Proposals are reviewed and accepted on a competitive basis. A limited number of proposals are accepted each quarter. Applicants will be notified of acceptance or rejection approximately three weeks following submission deadlines.
We accept and review proposals for programs according to the following schedule:
- November 1 – January 31 for programs inJune, July, and August
- February 1 – April 30 for programs in September, October, and November
- May 1 – July 31 for programs in December, January, and February
- August 1 – October 31 for programs in March, April, and May
