Register for a Program

Tredyffrin Township Libraries offer many different programs for all ages throughout the year. Here, we break down what the registration process looks like.

Our Calendar of Events

All of our programs are listed on our online calendar. This calendar includes all library-administered and library-sponsored programs or activities, which means the library develops and delivers the program, or the library is partnering with an approved community organization. If it is not on the online calendar, that likely means it is not one of our library programs. The event you heard about might be renting space at the Libraries, or a program might be happening at another library in the Chester County, Delaware County, or Montgomery County Library Systems––a lot of us are very close!

Registration Process

  1. On our online calendar, find the program you wish to attend. Click the program name.
  2. After clicking the program name, you will be taken to a page with a description that includes all of the program details: date, time, location (which library and room in the library), intended audience, and categories (such as health). A few programs require a small fee, such as yoga; any fees are mentioned in bold in the event description. Patrons should not hesitate to talk to library staff if this fee creates a barrier.
  3. Different programs have different registration requirements. Each program’s description will include one of the following:

Registration is required: This means that you must register for the program. Usually, we require registration for very popular events, large audiences, or limited program materials. Sometimes, you will still be able to attend even if you do not register, but it is not guaranteed.

  1. To register, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the button that reads “Begin Registration.”
  2. The fields for you to fill out your name and email address will appear after clicking.

Some programs are run in partnership with another organization who uses their own registration system. In this case:

  1. To register, find the end of the description.
  2. Click the link to the registration site or call/email the contact person.

If registration is requested, but not required, then you letting us know that you are attending will be helpful to our planning process. However, you are still more than welcome to attend if you did not register.

When registration is not required, you need not register at all. These programs are usually called “drop ins.”

If you have questions or difficulty with registering, you may always give us a call. For programs at Tredyffrin Public Library, call 610-688-7092 and press option 4 or dial extension 212. For programs at Paoli Library, call 610-296-7996.
