Teen Take Out Boxes

For Area Teens in Grades 6 to 12:
Sign up for your own customized Take Out Box! Fill out the form and Miss Stephanie will let you know the pick up date. Each box includes a book to return to the library, a book to keep, snacks, and more! Sign ups open today and last for 1 week.

Zoom Virtual Meeting
For grades 6 to 12:
Do you love to read graphic novels? Miss Stephanie does too! This is the first meeting of this book club. Bring your favorite graphic novel and we will decided our first whole group read together. See you there!

Marvel Virtual Escape Room
Wednesday, January 27 & Thursday, January 28

For ages 18+
Escape from a virtual Marvel Cinematic Universe themed room.
This virtual escape room will occur over Zoom, cameras & microphones must be enabled in order for conducive communication between group members.
Only 5 computers are allowed within each group. If players are using the same screen for Zoom, you only need to register as one player.
Registration is required; the Zoom link will be emailed the day of your session, so be sure to enter your current email when registering. Family or friend groups interested in playing must register each individual computer user.

Board of Trustees Meeting

Zoom Webinar
This meeting will be conducted via Zoom, an online video conferencing service. Members of the public must register in advance to attend the meeting.
For those joining the meeting with a PC, Mac, or using the Zoom app on a personal device, when the meeting is opened to public comment, use the “Raise Hand” option should you want to comment audibly. When you are selected to comment, we will state your name and un-mute you so you can speak. Briefly state your name and comment/item of concern. For those joining the meeting by phone, the meeting facilitator when un-mute you and ask if you wish to comment. Public Comment is limited to 3 minutes. If you wish to submit comments prior to the meeting, please e-mail tpl@ccls.org using the subject line “BoT Comment” by 8 pm on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.
The Libraries are not liable for any computer security problems that participants may experience. No in-person attendance at the library will be permitted.
Public comment should be short and concise and limited to general matters of concern and items on the agenda. Public comment will be limited to 3 minutes.
Crime Time Online: The Boy in the Box

Zoom Virtual Meeting
Crime Time is a meeting of true crime enthusiasts who discuss the intricacies of mysterious cases. Crime Time discusses real true crime cases which are often graphic in nature. Attendees must be 18 or older to participate.
Join us this month as we discuss the mysterious 1957 case that has come to be known as the Boy in the Box

Journaling Together for Teens

Our journaling group is now accepting new members. Each day we spend time journaling, reading out loud (your work, something literary or something for school) & enjoying casual conversation.

Looking for a quick game to play with the whole family? Want to challenge your friends virtually? Each Sunday at 1 pm we post a new Kahoot! quiz with a differnt theme. You can find the link & PIN on our Facebook page (@TPLChildren) & the game is playable for a whole week.
Once it’s over, we post the winners! If you have a request for a new Kahoot! theme, please email Miss Michele & she’ll alert you when your suggested Kahoot! trivia is ready.
