Thank you Volunteers!

Tredyffrin Public Library would like to thank our wonderful volunteers who contribute nearly 400 hours a month maintaining the library's quality service to the community. Over 50 active volunteers perform numerous tasks, such as shelving books, running the Red Fox Book Shop, helping with communications, assisting with the Children's Summer Reading Club, working with the Circulation Department, and much, much more!

Volunteers were honored on September 28 with a Harvest Moon Dinner at the library. Some of the areas best restaurants and markets donated soups for the occasion while a fiddler supplied musical entertainment. The library staff made desserts and served the volunteers. In addition, each volunteer was given a handmade ceramic bowl, specially made by potters from the Wayne Art Center and students from Conestoga High School's Mudders Club.

Videographer Wanted

Are you an aspiring or experienced videographer? The library is looking for a volunteer to tape lectures and events for the library website. If you are inexperienced but have the desire to learn and help the library, Tredyffrin Township offers a video production class and the support you'll need. Tredyffrin Public Library and Paoli Library both rely on volunteers to accomplish many tasks in the libraries. At Tredyffrin Public Library, volunteers help to notify patrons when their reserved books have arrived, enter data in the Library information system, assist with programs and participate in the Adopt-A-Shelf program. At Paoli Library, volunteers process new materials and mend worn or damaged items.
