The Libraries' Collections

Tredyffrin’s collection includes: 103,000 books, DVDs, music CDs, books on CD for adults, teens and children.  The Reference collection includes Local History, information on Health/Medical, College/Careers, Investment/Finance and Consumer information.  The Library subscribes to 200+ magazines and newspapers.  The collection includes books, magazines and newspapers in other world languages.

Paoli has 29,000 books, DVDs, books on CD, and music CDs for adults, teens and children. Reference collection includes Local History, Paoli Rail Yard documentation. The Library subscribes to 85 magazines and newspapers.

Services and Programs

Tredyffrin has professional reference service and assistance available all hours the library is open. Photocopiers, printers and a public fax machine are available for public use. The library offers computer classes. Public meeting rooms are available to rent. The library offers a wide variety of programs for adults, teens and children.

Paoli Library has a public meeting room for rent. Public computers with high-speed internet access, printers (black & white and color), a flatbed scanner and a color copier are available for public use. Paoli has a variety of programs and story hours for children, plus book groups and lectures for adults.

Internet 

Both libraries offer high-speed connections to the Internet, including free Wi-Fi (Internet access is provided by the Chester County Library System’s provider Chesconet).

Tredyffrin Public Library offers 23 high-speed, flat screen computers available to the public on the main level, plus five online catalogue stations. Downstairs in the Children's Library there are 6 public computers and one online catalogue station.

Paoli Library has six high-speed computers for public use and one online catalogue station.

Both libraries are handicapped accessible.
